All Those Who Wander's transatlantic sound connects the American Midwest with Ireland, Scotland, and Cornwall, a Celtic community in southwest Britain. The band weaves heartfelt stories, traditions, creations, and re-inventions into every song and tune.
Singer, guitarist, and penny whistle player Dr. Nick Booker leads the group and can perform solo. A duo or trio adds depth to the sound. For larger performances, the full band includes a vocal trio, guitar, concertina (similar to accordion), flute, penny whistle, bodhrán drum, and other percussion instruments. The band often leads sing-alongs and dances, and with a Ph.D. in ethnomusicology (music research), Nick is always happy to deliver presentations and tell stories about the rich traditions the music comes from, either as a part of concerts or as separate events.
